5+ Skincare Products to pack for your trip

As much as I LOVE vacations,  I can feel my skin already stressing out over the changes I will experience while traveling including food,  sleeping patterns, and various climate changes.

I like to see traveling as an opportunity to give my skin a bit of a break from the usual skincare routine. I have to drop most of my actives anyway (such as retinol and skin lighteners), as they don’t get along well with sunlight.

What I’ve found works best for me is traveling light, carrying only products that can replenish the lost moisture and nutrients and help my skin adjust to the new environment. Here are my go-to products whenever I travel!

Zo Skin Health travel size products

The first thing I like to have with me when traveling are some Zo travel-size products that you can usually get in a kit. I love that these small packages can cover a good portion of my skin’s needs.

Specifically, their Smart Tone Broad-Spectrum SPF 50 is an absolute necessity for me. UV protection is a must when you plan to spend lots of time out in the blazing sun.

I also love to have Zo’s non-drying cleanser with me wherever I go, as well as Complexion Renewal Pads. They help me maintain my complexion clean and matte.  The cleanser also removes your makeup which is a huge bonus!  If I am out of the travel size complexion pads I put a few in a ziplock to save on space.

As for my antioxidants, to keep free radicals at bay, brighten my skin and make it youthful and radiant, I rely on Zo 10% Vitamin C. Formulated with vitamins C and E, coenzyme-Q10 and squalane, this product is just what I need to protect and replenish my skin after long rides and days spent on the beach.

Summer Friday Jet Lag Mask

This mask comes in a mini travel size. It is perfect for traveling as it targets loss of moisture, dullness and stressed skin, which are common problems when away from home. I love that you can use it as both a mask or a moisturizer, and ingredients include niacinamide, glycerin, hyaluronic acid and antioxidants which is just what my skin needs to stay radiant and well-nourished.

Garnier Clearly Brighter Anti-Puff Eye Roller

Another must for long days full of excitement and stress. No matter how late you went to bed or how early you got up, this brightening eye roller is formulated with vitamin C, mint, and caffeine, to instantly cool, lighten and de-puff your under eye area.

Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Gel Moisturizer

This is my favorite travel-size moisturizer because it has a lightweight, fast-absorbing texture, nice scent, and it is super hydrating. It refreshes and soothes the skin, feels great and works well for most skin types.

Skinchies and Spa Headband

And, of course, skinchies have to go with me wherever I go. I just can’t imagine my day without them. Especially when paired with a headband, they keep everything clean and neat, make everything easier, and there are several ways I can use them to enhance my skincare routine including makeup removal with just water!

I hope you are enjoying your summer travels and taking care of that beautiful skin.

xoxo,

Allison
